Greenhouse Gasses for 2006

The U.N. weather agency recently released a report stating that 2006 was a record high for greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. World concentrations of carbon dioxide, and nitrous oxide in the atmosphere were the highest ever in measurements coordinated by the World Meteorological Organization. Methane another greenhouse gas remained stable from 2005 to 2006. Carbon Dioxide is the major greenhouse gas that is contributing to global warming. It is contributing a total of 91% compared to other greenhouse gases. Over the past 100 years the temperature of the earth has raised a total of 1.3 degrees Fahrenheit. Human activity is directly related to the global climate change because the carbon dioxide concentration is way higher when compared to the natural range over the past 650,000 years.
